Mark F. Lieberman has over 32 years of experience in the fixed income markets, with responsibilities covering portfolio management, trading and business development activities.
Mr. Lieberman is currently responsible for new business development activities and working directly with clients and their advisors on constructing and implementing fixed income portfolios and strategies. Since joining FPCM in 2005, Mr. Lieberman’s responsibilities have also included portfolio management of U.S. fixed income and global inflation strategies. Mr. Lieberman is a member of the FPCM investment committee.
Prior to joining FPCM, Mr. Lieberman was responsible for the North American Fixed Income Derivatives business for Nomura, a global investment bank where he was also a member of the Fixed Income Operating and Management Committees. Before joining Nomura, he was a member of Prudential Global Funding, one of the first fixed income derivatives firms established in 1985.
Mr. Lieberman has spoken at a number of public engagements, including the Bond Market Association’s post 9/11 risk management hearings and the Federal Reserve’s Annual Central Bankers Conference.
Mr. Lieberman has served as President of The Strategic Forum, a non-profit organization based in New York City and South Florida. He is a former Vice-Chairman of the New York division of State of Israel Bonds, and a founding board member of BeyondBond, an online fixed income trading and risk management firm located in New York City.
Mr. Lieberman holds a B.A. in Economics from the University of Michigan.
