Maxwell A. Amster has over eight years of experience developing and servicing institutional client relationships.
At First Principles, Mr. Amster is responsible for new business development activities and working directly with clients and their advisors on constructing and implementing fixed income solutions and strategies. He supports the investment strategy team with contributions to market and portfolio research and modeling. Additionally, Mr. Amster spearheads production efforts of all FPCM marketing collateral.
Mr. Amster joined FPCM’s business development team in March of 2016 and has since supported the team in all aspects of the client acquisition process. Mr. Amster continues to work directly with the client team, strategists and portfolio managers in the design of customized fixed income strategies to meet the specific objectives of each client.
Prior to joining FPCM, Mr. Amster worked within Greenwich Associates' Markets team supporting a number of bulge bracket fixed-income, currencies and commodities clients. In this role, he researched and published market data related to the selling and trading of fixed income, currencies, and derivatives by investment banks in the global market.
Mr. Amster graduated from the University of Connecticut with a BS in Finance and a minor in Political Science. He is also a long-standing Director for The RiseUP Group - a nonprofit organization mentorship program based in Hartford, CT.
