Robert R. Lewis has over 28 years of experience advising institutional investors on the design and implementation of customized investment and liability hedging strategies.
Mr. Lewis is a Managing Director at FPCM, and a member of the firm’s Management Committee and Investment Committee. Mr. Lewis joined FPCM in 2005 and is responsible for business development and relationship management.
At FPCM, Mr. Lewis works closely with clients and their advisors to gain a comprehensive understanding of investment objectives, risk constraints, liquidity needs and any unique tax, accounting, regulatory capital and liability characteristics in order to help develop optimal strategies customized for each client.
Prior to joining FPCM, Mr. Lewis was a Principal at The Todd Organization, where he counseled financial executives of large industrial corporations and financial institutions on strategies to optimize the funding and hedging of non-qualified benefit liabilities. His expertise enabled companies to find the most effective ways to fund and hedge post-retirement liabilities pertaining to supplemental retirement plans and other employee benefit obligations.
Mr. Lewis has held leadership positions in financial industry associations, promoted industry positions to Members of Congress, spoken at industry forums, and appeared on CNBC television.
Mr. Lewis earned a Bachelor of Science in Finance from Lehigh University.
